NCOA Services
Millions of Americans change their address annually, which can create obstacles in maintaining an up-to-date, high quality mailing list. The Mailing Department uses the National Change of Address (NCOA) to verify and update your in-house mailing list. This service is valuable for those businesses with a large database that has not been used in some time or any list that needs proof of updating in order to receive automated rates.
Working with The Mailing Department to use NCOA for your mailing list is easy.
The first step is to complete a Processing Acknowledgement Form (PAF) - this is a USPS annual requirement.
Our vendor has also supplied us with a document that explains the process and the reasons for the PAF.
If your company is not allowed to use NCOA for your list (ie: financial institutions) or you are already
using one of the other Move Update methods (ie: ACS), then we will need proof of the services run (please
email or fax the necessary documents to us). Please note, the PS6014 is no longer a valid document and
will not be accepted by the USPS or The Mailing Department.
To download these documents to your desktop, just right click and choose "save as", otherwise, you may click
the link and it will open in your browser. Then print, sign and fax it to our office: 847.776.9033.
We offer two versions of our NCOA PAF - one that has our information filled out at the bottom, and one that is blank on
the bottom (for those sub-contracted clients that do not want to share our information with their clients). Please be advised, when your client's
PAF expires (in one year), we will be sending to you a copy of their expired PAF (for their renewal convenience) and our information will
be on that form. If you have any questions, please contact your TMD representative. Please note that the NAICS Code is a required field, we
cannot process your form without it. If you don't know your NAICS Code, please visit the US Census Bureau website.

- Required Information Packet - This is our vendor supplied documentation (by signing the PAF you are acknowledging that you received this information)
