NCOA Services
Millions of Americans change their address annually, which can create obstacles in maintaining an up-to-date, high quality mailing list. The Mailing Department uses the National Change of Address (NCOA) to verify and update your in-house mailing list. This service is valuable for those businesses with a large database that has not been used in some time or any list that needs proof of updating in order to receive automated rates.
Working with The Mailing Department to use NCOA for your mailing list is easy. The first step is to complete a Processing Acknowledgement Form (PAF) - this is a USPS requirement. Our vendor has also supplied us with a document that explains the process and the reasons for the PAF. If your company is not allowed to use NCOA for your list (ie: financial institutions) or you are already using one of the other Move Update methods (ie: ACS), then we will need a completed PS6014 form one file. To download these documents to your desktop, just right click and choose "save as", otherwise, you may click the link and it will open in your browser. The PAF is a form enabled PDF so you can electronically enter most information. Then print, sign and fax it to our office: 847.776.9033.
